Spendro is a fully offline personal finance assistant built for privacy. We do not collect, store, transmit, share, or sell any of your personal data. Everything you enter into Spendro stays on your device only.
Spendro requests camera access only to allow you to photograph receipts and invoices for transaction recording. Images are processed entirely on your device using on-device text recognition. Photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere outside your device.
Spendro requests photo library access to allow you to select existing images of receipts or bank statement screenshots. These images are processed on your device only and never leave your device.
Spendro uses local notifications only. These are generated on your device to remind you to log daily transactions, send daily spending summaries, and alert you about upcoming payment dates. No notification data is sent to any external server.
Spendro utilizes artificial intelligence to provide financial insights and categorize your expenses. All AI models and text recognition (OCR) algorithms are bundled within the app and run entirely locally on your device. Your financial data, receipt images, and spending habits are never transmitted to any external AI servers or third-party cloud processing services.
If granted, calendar access is used only to create local reminders for your income payment dates. Calendar data is never read for any other purpose and is never transmitted anywhere.
All your financial data including income sources, transactions, budgets, categories, and reports is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. No data is ever sent to any server, cloud service, or third party under any circumstances.
Spendro requires no account, email address, phone number, or any personal identification. You are completely anonymous when using Spendro.
Spendro's core application does not include any proprietary analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting services. We do not track your usage of the app. However, the free version of Spendro integrates the Google AdMob SDK, which may collect basic device diagnostic data and advertising IDs as outlined in the Advertising section below.
The free version of Spendro displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and IP addresses to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Google AdMob does not have access to your local Spendro database, financial inputs, bank notifications, camera feed, or receipt images. You can permanently remove all ads and ad-tracking SDKs by upgrading to Spendro Premium.
Premium subscriptions (monthly or yearly) are processed entirely by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not collect, receive, or store your credit card or payment information. Please note that subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's native app store account settings.
Because Spendro operates without user accounts or external servers, there is no account to delete. You retain full control over your data. You can permanently delete all your financial records, scanned receipts, and settings at any time simply by uninstalling the Spendro app or clearing the app's data in your device settings. Once uninstalled, this local data is immediately destroyed and cannot be recovered.
Spendro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Spendro after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
